False - withholding information and false advertisment

My husband and I are planning to remodel our home in about two years. Direct buy offered us their visitors pass and we gladly accepted so that we could learn about their services and great rates for tremendous savings on our extensive home improvements. Upon arriving we explained our plans and they continued through their videos and infrormation. Before leaving a sales rep sat down with us and informed us that it was time to set up our membership. This is when we found out that the actual visitors pass is for you to get membership or you are not allowed to ever return for seven years. Wow! was my husband upset because you are required to pay 350 downpayment and 150 a month for the first two years and then your rate decreases after this for the remaining ten years, this is the silver or cheapest plan offered. we told them that we had really only come to get some information and knew from the get go that we wanted membership when we planned to start the work on our house. The man told us if he had known this he would have recommended us to come later but we had explained this to him and he had not told us this. Also he said, "well the visitors pass tells you this." However, the visitors pass does not specify that you must accept this membership or forfeit any opportunity receive their services for seven years. Honestly it was a cornering situation. Just like anything else we do, we went to see what they offered because we are making plans for our future and after getting their were told that you have to take their membership that day too or go without. This was not in the pass and I don't see how they realistically expect everyone to except this kind of payment without even knowing what the payment will be before going and learning about it and you can't expect people to know you wont be allowed to return or try later for seven years.People have to make arrangements for this kind of payment and I feel like this is false advertisement. There is no denying that we want to become a member and get these savings but we were planning on getting the membership at the time we were going to be needing it. I guess we will either except or continue shopping for deals online as we have done for our whole life. Honestly we feel like not accepting just for the fact they withheld the facts and they think this policy is an acceptable expectation and way of doing business
